This club is functioning in our college since 2019. The purpose of Shanti Club of College is to increase kindness, respect, acceptance and harmony among the students. Amidst the chaos and disharmony found in the society at times, the students learn to be the creators of peace and harmony. They conduct assemblies occasionally with the theme of peace on important days and arrange guest lectures to promote harmony. International Day of Peace, on September 21, is celebrated by the club during the assembly. There will be a speech to give awareness, and a role play enacted before the whole college during assembly. There is a special prayer for peace. There will be a few competitions held on the same day with theme of peace. By these activities, students are given the training to be the societal transformers as the Vision and Mission of the college are stated. The members of peace club meets once in two months and organise various programs to promote peace in the campus and community as a whole.
