This is a Christian term. The word koinonia means Communion or fellowship, joint participation, the share which one has in anything, a gift jointly contributed, a contribution. Our Koinonia Club stands as a fellowship group which would extend a helping hand to most desiring students of St. Joseph’s College for Women. It helps the students to feel with the marginalized and the poor people in our society. It assists financially backward students in their educational needs. The club conducted a Carnival on 10 January, to raise a small fund. This year also financial aid was given to a number of students of this college. Dr. KanakLata and MsTaskeenmanage the accounts and distribute the money to the needy students.
